Oneshot – Twilit Tower Collapse

Lailah insisted that the Twilight Warriors, or what was left of them, accompanied her and her Overworld Friends to the nearby Towerwood Dungeon to fight the Ur-Ghast. Shadow accompanied them to the top, before disappearing to attack some of the Ghast Guards around the area. Evita stood on a platform slightly above the floor firing arrows from her bow to distract the Ur-Ghast. Sonya and another girl named Anya flew around with claws and a sword respectively and attacked the Ghast while it was distracted. Lailah, Ender, and her other Overworld friends were setting up the Ghast Traps. Well, all but one, who was firing plasma shots from his gun.

“I don’t think those Ghast Traps are going to help any!” Evita shouted to the other person distracting the Ghast. “This guy just keeps shooting them!”
“I think they’ll do fine!” He shouted back.
“I don’t believe Lailah mentioned-” Evita started, but was cut off when the Ur-Ghast shot her platform, making it explode, and she was thrown to the other platform where the other guy was.
“Theo.” He smirked as Evita stood up. “Lailah’s really bad with introductions, huh?”
“You bet...” Evita quickly went back to shooting the Ur-Ghast as it began raining acidic tears along the tower’s top.
“Hey... You hear something?” Theo frowned as he continued firing at the Ghast.
“No, why?” Evita jumped to another platform and raised her voice to shout at Theo. “Aim for the Tentacles, stupid!”
“I am aiming!” Theo shouted back. “Also, I think something’s wrong with the Tower!”
“Why is that?” Evita looked down at the tower’s top floor. “It seems fine!”
“I hear it groaning with the weight of itself!” Theo shouted back. “I think it might-”

The Towerwood Dungeon crumbled under its weight. The planks snapped and tumbled towards the forest below. Anyone not in the air – basically just Anya, Sonya, Shadow, and Ender – fell with the tower towards the forest below. Evita tried to get her jetpack out in time to slow or stop her descent, but she noticed her backpack has been knocked from her shoulders and had already plummeted to the forest below.

Evita shut her eyes tight as she hit the ground.

Evita woke up, groaned, and tried to move from where she was. She noticed immediately she was being pinned down by some broken Twilight Wood Planks and other various materials that had come down with the tower. She looked around to get a bearing of her surroundings, and spotted Theo pinned to the ground... underneath her.

“Well this is awkward.” Evita shook her head as Theo opened his eyes.
“Ow...” He groaned. “Did the tower collapse?”
“You gave enough warning...” She replied. “As for our, uh, problem...”

Theo noticed where he was, and chuckled awkwardly.

“This is...” Theo shook his head. “...Awkward?”
“Think you can move at all?” Evita nodded to her left arm, pinned in some rubble. “And my right is stuck behind me.”
“My left is underneath me...” Theo frowned. “And so is my gun which is quite painful to be sitting on, and as for my right...”
“What?” Evita looked around.
“I think I broke my wrist in the fall.” Theo nodded to his right arm. “If I move it, it really hurts.”
“Oh.” Evita looked over at Theo’s wrist. It looked broken. “Yeah. So we’re stuck.”
“Unless I can get my hand out from under my...” Theo trailed off and shook his head. “No, it’s really stuck. Think you can free at least one of your arms?”
“I think not.” She attempted to move her left arm, only to notice it was being impaled by some Towerwood and she couldn’t unsolidify it, for fear of damaging both herself and Theo if the planks would collapse. Her right was too pinned behind her to move at all. “Nope. I tried, and I’m stuck.”
“So we can’t even get out of this...” Theo’s expression turned from slightly annoyed to pained. “You’re pinning me down quite... efficiently. Even if you are a slime.”
“Yeah.” Evita examined her position. “I would love to... move, but... you know.”

Theo glanced around, obviously trying to ignore the awkward situation. Evita tried to shift her lower half, only to feel some Towerwood material shift and make her stop.

“...So.” Theo frowned. “Think I can get my arm out from under myself, even with you pinning me down?”
“Of course not.” Evita replied in annoyance.
“Well I’m going to try.” Theo frowned.

Theo shifted slightly under her, and sighed angrily.

“What?” Evita frowned.
“I’m very stuck.” Theo sighed. “I can barely move.”
“You think I can move more?” She growled. “I hope Sonya doesn’t see this... I won’t hear the end of it.”

Theo’s hand slipped out from underneath him.

“Well.” Theo sighed. “I managed to do that. Now what?”
“I have no idea.” Evita shook her head. “How about try and move the Twilight Planks that are on me so we can move out of the way?”
“I don’t know.” Theo frowned at the mess of the structure above us. “I could probably move this, but who knows what might shift and end up having everything collapsed down on us?”
“What about below us?” Evita nodded to some of the Towerwood. “I see a room below us. It might be unstable, but it’s larger than this pocket we’re currently in.”
“The only way to get down there without killing someone is for my Plasma Pistol to shoot the boards under me so they snap, and we might end up causing the room to collapse too.”
“It’s a risk I’m gonna take.” Evita smiled. “Come on, shoot it!”
“...My pistol is under my ass.” Theo smiled weakly. “I can’t reach it.”
“Is it pointing downwards?” Evita smirked. “Because I might be able to shoot it...”
“How?”
“I’m a slime.” Evita pointed out. “I can solidify and liquidize my body.”
“So... You’re going to liquidize your arm, move it under me, solidify it around my pistol, and fire it?”
“Exactly.”
“...Okay then.” Theo shook his head. “I can’t wrap my head around this logic, but okay?”
“Just sit still and don’t startle me.” Evita smirked.

She let her left arm liquidize, and tried to keep a grip on most of the matter it was made up of, slowly moving it out of the rubble and down to the unstable rubble under them. She located Theo’s pistol, wedged under Theo and in between two boards, and slipped her hand-matter around it, and solidified it. Theo let out a slight gasp.

“Did I hurt you?” Evita frowned at him.
“J-j-j-just startled me.” Theo stammered.
“How do I create a mini-explosion with this?” She focused on her hand and slid her finger around the trigger.
“Pull the trigger and hold it, wait around three seconds, and let go.” Theo instructed.

Evita did as he said, and the Plasma Pistol let out a minor energy explosion, damaging the planks around them that splintered and snapped seconds later. They fell down into the rather large room below. Theo rolled out of Evita’s way when she fell, and grabbed his pistol off the floor.

“That was some quick thinking.” She complimented. “Moving your hand off your weapon so I could fire it, and after the explosion you moved out of my way so you wouldn’t be pinned again.”
“Thanks.” Theo stammered, holstering his gun quickly.
“Speaking of that explosion, how in the name of the Nether did I startle you?” Evita stood up and crossed her arms.
“You...” Theo’s face flushed abruptly and his voice lowered slightly. “...You pinched my ass.”
“Sorry.” Evita smirked. “That’s me for ya, making you uncomfortable since I joined the Twilight Warriors.”
“Y-y-yeah.” Theo shook his head. “There’s a reappearing door over there. I think it still works.”
“I bet it does.” Evita walked up to it and pressed her hand against it, and it opened. “Come on! The rubble seems to have knocked this place over slightly, and the Forest floor is literally just outside.”
“Right, right.” Theo shook his head and stood up, walking over to the door. “...That’s a ten foot drop!”
“Close enough.” Evita shrugged.
“For sure you’ll hurt yourself.” Theo frowned, grasping his broken wrist in his free hand. “And I can’t land on my feet without being able to roll in case I screw it up.”
“Well then.” Evita slapped Theo’s ass and knocked him out the doorway. “Oops, I meant to do that.”

Theo landed on his feet, spun around, and glared up at her.

“The hell was that for?!” Theo shouted.
“For being sensitive!” Evita laughed, and leaped out of the doorway. “Catch me!”
“What?!” Theo jumped back.

Evita liquidized her entire body and splat all over the forest floor when she landed. She solidified herself in a standing up position, with her arms crossed.

“I said catch me.” She snorted.
“Keep yourself in check.” Theo spun around. “I think we’re the only ones in the rubble. I think everyone else was moved by either Ender or Shadow as of now.”
“Good.” Evita smirked at Theo and walked past him. “Let’s go tell them we’re out of the rubble.”
“Right...” Theo walked up to her side and kept pace with her.

As soon as they were out of harm’s way if the tower room collapsed, Evita slapped Theo’s lower back, causing him to stagger a little.

“Will you quit that?!” Theo hissed angrily.
“What, I can’t slap you?” Evita pouted. “Sonya and Sasha don’t care.”
“I’m not Sonya or Sasha!” Theo hissed. “And I’m not feminine either!”
“Oh.” Evita shrugged and grinned cheekily. “I never noticed.”
“...Rrrrrrrr...” Theo let out a low growl.
“No need to be grumpy, Theo-sweetie.” Evita laughed. “I am so telling Ender what just happened!”
“Oh no you’re not!” Theo’s anger evaporated instantly and he tried to grab her arm, but his hand passed right through the slime. “On second thought, I’ll beat you to her!”

They ran off towards Ender, shouting useless insults at each other.
I wanted to do something related to my four recent OCs. The three ladies I recently named (i.e.: Sonya, the Harpy. Sasha, the Lamia. Evita, the Slime) and the male Shadow Dimension OC I have (I love that mod...) named Shadow.

Then I thought "Well those Twilight Towerwood things with the Ur-Ghast as their bosses look kind of unsturdy". And then this happened.

...I am not sorry. Also, I will probably pay for writing this... Keep Theo away from meeee //shot But it was fun!

I really need to write more. My most recent Deviantations are all Pixel Art! Believe me, I love Pixel Art, and my OCs, but not using bases //shot again but one's gotta have a break sometime from OCs and Pixel Art! I've been playing Bioshock 2, but that doesn't count! Also been watching Doctor Who, and tomorrow I'm getting together with a friend I haven't seen since Grade 4 to chat but that doesn't count either!

...And also I need to make more Minecraft Comics. //brick'd
